A Japanese manga cafe/ gallery has opened in Brick Lane, East London. The gallery recently hosted an exhibition by Japanese calligrapher, Kotaro Hatch, who experiments by combining traditional Japanese calligraphy styles with contemporary art. At the Bodhi Gallery opening launch party he performed live painting, writing calligraphy on the walls like branches of trees. This exhibition was called "Words Tree".
